Bud Moore
Managing Director
A founding partner of Valesco Industries, Bud has been an active advisor and investor in growth oriented companies for more than 30 years. Coming from an entrepreneurial family background, his earliest experiences are rooted in middle market commercial and industrial businesses engaged in manufacturing and value-added distribution. This professional family business foundation provided him with a deep understanding and appreciation for all aspects of company operations; planning, management, production, procurement sales, marketing, logistics, accounting and finance. These experiences were subsequently broadened through a variety of management and investment opportunities chiefly related to manufacturing, value-added distribution of industrial equipment and parts, and fabricated metal parts and assemblies.
Before establishing Valesco, Bud founded two firms offering specialty advisory services in mergers, acquisitions and corporate finance. Central to the success and national reputation of these firms was the development of unique corporate growth programs specifically designed for middle market businesses seeking to expand market presence and share through strategic acquisitions.
Bud is a member of the Valesco Investment Committee, past President and Board Member of the Dallas/Fort Worth Chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth and is an Associate Board Member at the Southern Methodist University Cox School of Business.
His other past and present Board activities include appointments with Valesco investments, trade associations and charitable foundations. Bud is a graduate of the Texas A&M University School of Business.
